Orginating from Vietnam the styles reflected in these pots are an eclectic mix of Asia and Western tastes. The stoneware clay is extremely tough, and the addition of a ceramic clay and high firing temperature provide the highest level of protection from the frost.
Clay Fibre pots are manufactured by hand in China, the factory that our supplier (Mega Ceramics) sources from has sole supply into Western Europe.
These pots are handmade in Vietnam, the process is very similar to that used for clay fibre pots. However the wet part of the mixture is concrete based and the mesh used to strengthen the pot is one layer of galvanised wire, formed to the shape of the pot.
These ranges are handmade in Vietnam. The Atlantic pots are glazed with a 'paint on' liquid glaze before the firing process. Being handmade these collections are very individual and have their own character.
